When one thinks of India’s best beaches, Goa often comes to mind. However, tucked away in the remote Andaman and Nicobar Islands lies a breathtaking gem—Radhanagar Beach. The beach was recently ranked as the fifth-best beach in Asia in TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best 2025 rankings.
Topping the list is Banana Beach in Phuket, Thailand, followed by Kelingking Beach in Indonesia, Haeundae Beach in South Korea, and White Beach in the Philippines. Our very special Radhanagar Beach secured the fifth spot.

So why does Radhanagar Beach deserve this recognition?
Located on Havelock Island, now called Swaraj Dweep, Radhanagar Beach is renowned for its soft, powdery white sand, clear turquoise waters, and lush tropical surroundings. It’s the kind of beauty one does not forget easily. We are quick to admire beaches in foreign countries, finding them incredibly attractive, while often overlooking the gems in our own backyard. This recognition serves as a reminder for us all to appreciate India’s attractions with a fresh perspective.
Unlike the over-crowded beaches of Goa, Radhanagar offers tranquility, making it a perfect escape for those seeking peace and natural beauty.
