“She hasn’t had much to cheer”: Super Bowl commentator made a controversial Travis Kelce comment while Taylor Swift was shown on screen | NFL News

The Kansas City Chiefs‘ pursuit of a third consecutive Super Bowl victory was halted with a 40-22 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. The Eagles won their second championship, while the Chiefs fell short of becoming the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row.
Philadelphia’s defense, led by Cooper DeJean and Josh Sweat, stifled the Chiefs’ offense, with DeJean’s 22nd birthday marked by a pick-six and Sweat relentlessly pressuring Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs trailed 24-0 by halftime, with Mahomes limited to 7-of-15 passing for 41 yards and two interceptions. The Chiefs struggled to find their rhythm, with Travis Kelce held without a catch in the first half and Taylor Swift in the stands.

FOX commentator brutally trolls Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce was insulted by a Super Bowl commentator while his girlfriend Taylor Swift was shown on TV worldwide. Fox had the broadcast rights for Super Bowl LIX in the USA, featuring some of the biggest NFL names in history for the February sporting event.
Kelce was unable to recall his 93 yards and nine catches from the 2024 Super Bowl, and Fox was present to ensure his memory was not forgotten. With the Eagles leading 17-0 at halftime, Fox acted aggressively towards Kelce, while his girlfriend watched helplessly from the stands.
“Well, Taylor Swift is in attendance… but she hasn’t had much to cheer about yet because Travis Kelce hasn’t caught a ball,” the Fox commentator brutally said. Fans couldn’t cope with the comment after it went viral on social media. One wrote: “I’m sorry but I burst out laughing when this happened.” Another posted: “The commentator chose violence.” And a third said: “This is so funny.”

Kelce caught four passes from quarterback Patrick Mahomes, resulting in 39 yards. Mahomes had 257 yards and three touchdowns, but his two turnovers led to Eagles scores. The Eagles scored most of the time, and Kelce and his teammates struggled to recover from the loss, with most Chiefs scores coming after the game was over.
The Eagles’ Elliott scored a 27-yard field goal in the third quarter, extending the Eagles’ lead to 27-0. Smith then caught a 46-yard touchdown pass from Hurts, bringing the Eagles’ lead to 34-0. The Chiefs offensive problems show in their first half drives since every one ended with punts or interceptions. Mahomes has also been sacked five times.
