Roman Reigns is one of the celebrated WWE superstars and is considered one of the best marquee players in entertainment wrestling. He has been reigning hearts of fans and admirers since the time he joined the WWE ring. Known for his sheer athleticism and wrestling prowess, Reigns is the brightest star of the Anoa’i family.

Relationship with Galina Becker and age difference
Roman Reigns, originally known as Leati Joseph Anoa’i, married Galina Joelle Becker in 2014 after initially meeting her during their time together as students at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2007. Becker and Reigns have now been married for over a decade and share five children.
The age difference between the couple is that they are just two years apart. Leati Joseph was born in 1985 and Becker was born in 1987, making Reigns only two years older than Galina Becker. They have been a power couple who have been together since they were married and serve as an inspiration to many.
The pair welcomed their first child in 2007, a daughter named Joelle Anoa’i and they were then blessed with twins both in 2016 and 2020. While his career keeps him busy, he dedicates most of his time to his wife and children. He keeps his children away from the limelight.
The wrestling star recalled the early days of their relationship during an interview with WWE Unfiltered, saying, “We were just having fun. We were kind of glued to each other … just not having a care in the world or worry about anyone but us.”
Galina Becker holds a management degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a former athlete and fitness model and was associated with the Georgia Yellow Jackets, a football team of the Georgia Institute of Technology, the institute where the model had previously studied.
Roman Reigns’ fight with leukemia
Roman Reigns has struggled with leukemia throughout his life, having been diagnosed with the disease twice. At the age of 22, he was first diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML).
In an interview with the Sager Foundation, Reigns once said: “From that moment on, I relied on my mom and my family to guide me through it. Looking back at it now I was just in shock; being so young and not [facing] any true adversity at that point in my life and everything kind of went smoothly for me.”
Reigns also believes in philanthropy. He donates to charitable organizations like the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Road ahead to WrestleMania 41 for Roman Reigns
Fans waited in anticipation when and how Roman Reigns would come back after his WrestleMania XL loss to Cody Rhodes. But, the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns made a surprising comeback to WWE’s ring for the first time after five years, during Royal Rumble 2025 turning his fans frenzy.
During the Rumble match, Reigns demonstrated his power by entering the Men’s Royal Rumble match without any further delay as an entrant number 16. No sooner did he enter the ring, he eliminated The Miz, Sheamus, and Bron Breakker.
As WWE prepares for the upcoming WrestleMania 41 on April 19, 20205, the company is planning to feature Reigns after the Royal Rumble conclusion. In the recently held Monday Night RAW of the March 10, 2025, edition, Roman Reigns made a huge statement at the end of an explosive main event.

Roman Reigns entered the steel cage match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk. He interfered in the match to help out Rollins and attacked CM Punk with a spear. It will be interesting to see if this feud among the wrestlers will be seen in the upcoming WrestleMania 41.
