The nine-year veteran is shooting a career-high 41.8% from three-point range on 9.4 attempts per game, averaging 16.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 55 appearances. His historic campaign reached a new milestone on Tuesday night when he broke the Pistons’ single-season record for three-pointers made, sinking his 212th of the season in a dominant 132-92 win over the Chicago Bulls.
For the Golden State Warriors, Malik Beasley represents a perfect fit. Known for their three-point-heavy offense under head coach Steve Kerr, Golden State could use another elite shooter to complement Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler. Beasley’s ability to knock down shots off screens and in transition would add a new dimension to the Warriors’ attack, potentially creating one of the league’s most potent offenses.

While Malik Beasley’s defensive limitations are well-documented—he holds a career defensive rating of 116 per 100 possessions—his offensive firepower could outweigh those concerns. Pairing him with Stephen Curry in the backcourt would not only ease the scoring burden on the two-time MVP but also provide Golden State with a reliable secondary option when defenses key in on Curry.
