Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey faces yet another sexual assault case after battling criminal charges 18 months ago and clearing his image. The British lawsuit was filed at the London High Court on Wednesday.
The case is made by the actor Ruari Cannon, who met Spacey in London’s Old Vic theatre, where the ‘House of Cards’ actor worked as an art director between 2003 and 2015. Currently, Kevin is facing another criminal lawsuit of sexual assault in London, due to which he was not available for a response or a reaction, according to the Union Leader.
Previously, in 2023, the American actor faced allegations of sexual assault against four men in their 20s and 30s who accused him of making venereal and violating comments, according to The Guardian.
The allegations were dismissed by the actor, and he claimed that they were absolute madness and a stab in the back. He specified that one of them was just after ‘money, money, money, and money,’ and others were just financially motivated. The prosecutor accused the ‘American Beauty actor of being a ‘sexual bully,’ and he only used his fame and power to be indecent and exploit the accusers.
In the statement, Kevin said, “I would like to say that I’m enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts carefully before they reached their decision. And I am humbled by the outcome today.”
Meanwhile, a few moons back, in a TV interview, Kevin mentioned that while he does take complete responsibility for his past behavior and actions, he would not apologize for all the exaggerated stories that are made up about him.
