Controversial rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and his wife Bianca Censori have grabbed the headlines for their brief yet surprising arrival at the 2025 Grammys red carpet. Ye was accompanied by Censori, who wore a sheer ‘naked’ dress with nothing underneath, and if rumours are to be believed, the duo were ‘kicked out’ of the venue. When Ye met Bianca
Ye met Bianca Censori in November 2020. He slid into Censori’s DMs and invited her to work for Yeezy. According to her friends, “Ye slid into her DMs, found her on Instagram, and said, ‘Come work for me.’” Censori was at a point where she dropped out of college, unsure if she was technically an architect. She moved to Los Angeles and signed up as an employee of Yeezy shortly.
Censori Overload
Towards the end of 2022, Ye dropped a song titled ‘Censori Overload,’ hinting at their budding romance.
First public appearance
In Jan. 2023, Ye and Censori were seen together for the first time at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills. At the time, Censori was a mystery woman, and the fans of Ye were clearly intrigued.
Secret marriage
Sources close to the couple revealed they had married in a private ceremony in Jan. 2023, however, it wasn’t confirmed until Oct. 2023. The Daily Mail reported that the couple received a confidential marriage license on December 20, 2022, shortly after West finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian.
Honeymoon
Following their wedding in Jan. 2023, the controversial couple headed for a cozy honeymoon. They spent a week together in a 600-acre resort in the Amangiri Grand Circle of National Parks and Monuments and celebrated their wedding.
Making amends with Ye’s family
Shortly after the wedding, Censori owned the role of a stepmother. She was seen by West and his eldest daughter, North West in late Jan. 2023. She has since been spotted with North at various events, including Ye’s birthday bash, and even attending church together.
Home, sweet home
In June 2023, the new couple moved into a $20,000-a-month penthouse in West Hollywood, California. “Bianca manages everything and is all about her man. Things are going well for them in their marriage, and they seem extremely well-suited and happy together,” a source told The Sun.
Six-month anniversary
The couple celebrated their 6-month anniversary in June 2023. “Kanye feels like he finally met someone who truly gets him and loves him for the person he is… he loves that they can work and collaborate together on projects and appreciates and respects her opinions, even if they don’t always agree,” a source told the US Weekly.
Bianca’s birthday
After the rumours of Ye’s controlling behaviour towards Censori came in, the couple celebrated her birthday in Las Vegas. Kanye posted a sweet note, that read, “I miss you when I wakeup before you.”
Relationship on the rocks
In Oct. 2024, the reports of the couple heading for divorce came in, Some reports also suggested that West was planning a move to Tokyo.
