Justin Bieber has fans rooting for him and his wife Hailey Bieber after he gave a reassuring update about the state of their relationship.
According to TMZ, on January 21, fans noticed that Bieber’s account had unfollowed his wife’s Instagram page. That sparked a round of split rumors.
However, Bieber quickly took action on his own Instagram page, refollowed his wife, and cleared things up. He says he was hacked, TMZ reported.
The post is no longer visible on Justin Bieber’s page. However, it read, according to TMZ, “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. [Expletive] is getting suss out here.”
Justin Bieber & Wife Hailey Looked Happy 4 Days Before the Unfollow Situation
According to TMZ, Bieber and his wife were spotted looking happy together while skiing in Aspen, Colorado, just four days before the unfollowing situation.
They appeared to be in “a great mood,” as they went skiing with their friends Kendall and Kylie Jenner, according to TMZ.
According to Page Six, just a few days before, Bieber wrote lovingly about Hailey on his Instagram story. “The greatest woman I have and will ever know,” he wrote, according to Page Six.
Just two days before the hacking claim, Bieber posted a collage of photos that included a photo showing him ice skating with Hailey. The couple share a young son together. On January 4, he posted a photo on Instagram that showed him kissing his wife’s cheek.
Hailey Bieber has been silent about the matter on her Instagram page.
“Hailey has seen a whole different side to Justin since becoming a father and she’s more in love with him than ever,” a source told Page Six, which noted that the split rumors started due to “cryptic” messages the pair have posted on their Instagram pages.
“They laugh at the constant divorce rumors,” a source told Page Six in November. “It’s annoying but just noise.”
Many fans wrote on social media that they are hoping for the couple to make it.
“It’s very clear it’s a mistake as he posted a sweet message to her the other day, I know many people keep wishing on these two downfall and I think it’s so pathetic,” wrote one person.
“False alarm, Beliebers! Glad to hear it was just a hack and not a breakup,” another person wrote.
“They want them to fall but their love will always be stronger,” wrote another person.
