On Monday, Sunanda took to social media to pen an emotional post. She wrote, “This issue isn’t just about money, it is about the mental harassment I went through. This is about every artiste who comes from a middle-class family with dreams to make a career, only to fall in the trap of crocodiles. They make us work hard and build their own homes on our income. Then they claim that they have put food on my plate!…I would cry alone in my room for days and sometimes even thought of ending my life.”
She also posted about being an independent artiste and is anyone is claiming their represent her, people should report it to her. She wrote, “This is to inform the public, business associates and all parties concerned that certain individuals/entities are falsely claiming to have exclusive rights over my professional engagements and misleading third parties into believing that I am contractually bound to them. These claims are completely false, fraudulent, unauthorised, and legally baseless. Legal action will be taken against anyone found misrepresenting their association with me or attempting to interfere with my professional engagements.”
