HP launches Omen Max 16, its most powerful gaming laptop with Intel Core Ultra 9 and Nvidia RTX 5080 GPU in India

HP haw launched its most powerful gaming laptop, the Omen Max 16, in India. The gaming laptop features Intel’s 24-core Ultra 9-275HX processor and NVIDIA’s cutting-edge RTX 5080 GPU with new Blackwell technology.
The laptop boasts a combined power draw of over 250W (75W CPU + 175W GPU), supported by an advanced cooling system that includes heat pipes, a vapor chamber, and hybrid liquid metal compound for optimal thermal management.
A standout feature is Omen AI, described as the world’s first AI-driven 1-click performance optimization tool. This beta technology automatically fine-tunes system settings for optimal frame rates and gameplay experience, beginning with Counter-Strike 2 support and expanding to more titles over time.
The Omen Max 16 comes equipped with 32GB of DDR5 RAM (5600MT/s) and a 1TB PCIe 5.0 SSD. Its display is a 16-inch 2560×1600 IPS panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and full sRGB coverage, supporting variable refresh rate to minimize screen tearing.
“India’s gaming industry is evolving rapidly, with players demanding high-performance and personalized experiences,” said Vineet Gehani, Senior Director of Personal Systems at HP India.
Additional features include a Full HD IR camera with Windows Hello support, a physical privacy shutter, and customizable per-key RGB lighting. The laptop can be personalized through the Omen Gaming Hub, where users can adjust system settings, power modes, and cooling preferences.
