This unauthorized airing raised serious concerns among the film’s producers about the impact of piracy on their hard work and the livelihoods of those in the industry. In response, the producers collaborated with M/S Copyright Safety Systems and local police to conduct a raid on the TV station. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the authorities seized equipment used for the broadcast and arrested those responsible for airing the pirated version.
Reports indicate that a group of around 45 individuals was involved in this illegal distribution, which prompted the film’s team to file a complaint with cybercrime authorities.
