Jennifer Rauchet, the wife of US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, is in the spotlight after being included in a private Signal group chat where Hegseth reportedly revealed sensitive details about a US military strike on Yemen.
According to a report by The New York Times, Hegseth shared information about the war plan, including the flight details of the warplanes involved in the March 15 attack targeting Houthi forces. The chat group named ‘Defense | Team Huddle,’ included his wife, Jennifer Rauchet, his brother, Phil, and personal attorney, Tim Parlatore. This comes nearly a month after the Defence Secretary got embroiled in the first Signal chat leak, where in The Atlantic editor-in-chief was ‘accidentally’ added, wherein Hegseth and top officials, including VP JD Vance, reportedly discussed the same war plans.

Who is Jennifer Rauchet?
Jennifer Rauchet is a media professional. She graduated from Towson University with a degree in journalism. Best known for her work as a producer at Fox News, she contributed to programs like Fox & Friends Weekend.
Jennifer Rauchet met Pete Hegseth while working at the network. Hegseth was a former co-host of the same show. The couple got married in 2019 at Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, New Jersey, donning red ‘Make Weddings Great Again’ hats in a nod to Donald Trump’s MAGA slogan.
Rauchet is Hegseth’s third wife. He was previously married to Meredith Schwarz (2004-2009), and Samantha Deering (2010-2017).
Hegseth has often referred to Rauchet as his ‘rock’. The couple has a 7-year-old daughter, Gwen. Both also have three children each from previous relationships. Though Rauchet often keeps a low public profile, she does not shy away from sharing her admiration for Hegseth. In a post shared on March 31, she wrote, “I’ve missed him, but great to watch my husband visiting friends on the other side of the world. On March 6, she reportedly joined a Pentagon meeting with Britain’s Secretary of Defence John Healy and Admiral Tony Radakin. This was a day after the US halted intelligence sharing with Ukraine. Rauchet has also accompanied Hegseth to a North Atlantic Treaty Organization meeting in Brussels in February.
