Vishwas Nagar is a legislative assembly constituency in Delhi and one of the 70 assembly seats in the state.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has nominated Deepak Singhal, while the Indian National Congress (INC) has fielded Rajiv Chaudhary. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has chosen Om Prakash Sharma as its candidate for the upcoming election.
In the 2020 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections, Vishwas Nagar had a total of 2,00,047 electors, with 1,25,233 valid votes cast.The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Om Prakash Sharma won the seat with 65,830 votes, defeating Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Deepak Singla, who secured 49,373 votes. The victory margin was 16,457 votes.
In the 2015 elections, Vishwas Nagar had 1,86,871 electors, with a total of 1,28,720 valid votes cast. Om Prakash Sharma (BJP) won again with 58,124 votes, defeating Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Dr. Atul Gupta, who received 47,966 votes. The margin of victory was 10,158 votes.
The election for this constituency was held on February 5, 2025, with the counting of votes taking place on February 8, 2025.
