12 Steps On How To Introduce 2 Cats To Each Other For The First Time.

Getting two cats to like each other can be a tough thing to do, especially when bringing a new kitten to a house that only had one cat before. Some cats take longer, and some don’t take long at all. Some cats may need to stay between a half-closed door or gate during feedings to get used to each other. You should be fine as long as you follow the steps in this adorable video below (but you never know, because, well, cats).

I rarely get emotional over cat videos, but this one had all the winning elements: A good story with a beginning, middle, and an end. Funny cat moments and plenty of aww to bring it home at the end. Awesome stuff.

Now I hear you asking, “but what about introducing two dogs to one another?” Don’t worry. They’ve already introduced themselves while you asked that question.

This Former Vegas Leopard Playing With His New Toy Is The Most Adorable Thing

In 2007, Zorro the leopard was turned over to Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary after a lifetime of performing on Vegas stages. Like most animals in Zorro’s unfortunate position, he was declawed as a cub, most likely without anesthesia and not by a real veterinarian.

If you don’t know the truth about the procedure that’s regularly done on both big and domestic cats…it’s not just like a nail trim. The entire first bone gets completely cut off, and it can cause pain for the rest of their lives. Sometimes, the claw will still grow through the skin, making walking extremely painful, let alone playing, running, and jumping.

Luckily for Zorro, he doesn’t experience any pain.

And as you can see, he’s not unlike house cats…he loves cardboard boxes!

Just like little Fluffy over here…

Thank goodness Zorro doesn’t have any problems with his paws, and that his previous owner found the good in his heart to surrender his performance partner to the sanctuary. Unfortunately, not all animals in the cruel business are so lucky, and many more live a life of pain, performing tricks they’re forced to do over and over again. You can donate to Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary to help animals like Zorro who have suffered.

5 Cats Meet Their Baby Brother For The First Time…Get Ready To Laugh!

When parents bring their newborns home for the first time, there’s often a bit of hesitation if they already own pets. Will they embrace their new brother…or use him as a chew toy? One family decided to find out by bringing their baby home and filming the whole exchange…

…with not one, not two, but five cats! The result is something too adorably precious to miss.

Don’t forget to turn on closed captions!

Though the cats didn’t quite know what to make of him at first, it looks like they’ll get along just fine. At least until he starts crying at all hours of the night, keeping this furry family from their cat naps!

When You Combine Cats And Balloons, You Get Non-Stop Hilarity

There are more than 70 different cat breeds and many of them have become domesticated for humans to have as pets. They’re valued for their companionship and their ability to hunt vermin such as mice and rats.

But one thing they do not enjoy is being on the receiving end of a prank. (Too bad for them.)

When these humans attached balloons to their cats via static electricity, it naturally made for a pretty hilarious afternoon.

“Hey, how’d this thing get here?! What are you putting on me?!”

“Maybe if I get low enough…”

“You’ve got one, too?!”

var OX_ads = OX_ads || []; OX_ads.push({ slot_id: “537251602_56f4a3aacfef5”, auid: “537251602” });

“Maybe if we sit like the dogs, these demon balls will come off.”

To see a whole video of these cats with balloons on their bodies, have a look right here.

Oh, cats. This is just payback for all those times you used our legs as scratching posts.

He Was Live-Streaming His Video Game When This Terror Happened

Whenever I stay at people’s houses to watch their cats while they’re gone, I leave the lights on at night.

Though I’ve never seen one myself, I’ve always been afraid of encountering a ghost, especially while I’m trying to sleep. Pair that with being alone in an unfamiliar place, and I quickly resort to using the adult equivalent of a night light. That’s why I can’t believe this guy stayed where he was for so long.

When YouTuber Rubzy was pet-sitting for a friend, he decided it would be fun to stream some video games. However, just as he was in the middle of sharing his gameplay, a terrifying sequence of events took place in the apartment that would make anyone want to leave immediately.

This video contains some pretty strong language.

Maybe this would be a good time to quit my side gig of pet-sitting. There’s no way I could handle all of that craziness.

This Ferocious Big Cat Is Best Friends With A Small Dog. It’s Too Precious.

The Garold Wayne Interactive Zoological Park in Wynnewood, OK, just south of Oklahoma City, is home to several different exotic animals: tigers, lions, zebras, monkeys and more. But what makes the park really special is the bond that formed between one of their big cats and a very small dog.

Bonedigger, a 500 lb lion, spends his days with his best friend Milo, an 11 lb miniature dachshund. The odd couple became friends when Milo sensed the gentle giant was suffering from a metabolic bone disease. Milo does his best to comfort him, the two cuddling and playing together. Zookeepers say Milo even tries to mimic Bonedigger when he’s communicating with other lions in the park, attempting similar huffs and puffs. Take a look at the adorable duo:

Milo even acts as Bonedigger’s personal dentist!

When They Found This Calf, He Couldn’t Walk But His Mom Refused To Leave His Side

The incredible people over at Animal Aid Unlimited know all too well the struggles of a street animal in India.

They make it their life’s work to rescue, rehabilitate, and if they can, rehome the poor souls they find helpless without a safe place to call their own. While you might think they just have to worry about dogs and cats, that’s far from the truth. Cattle, donkeys, horses…they too have to fend for themselves.

When they found this injured calf, they feared the worst for the little boy. Without the ability to walk, he would have surely perished on the streets.

They swept him up to save him…but found that someone was following them to the rescue van — his mom!

Check out the whole story below — this one will warm your heart.

What a happy ending!

When They Found Him He Was Trapped And Crying. Their Quick Actions Saved The Day!

Can you imagine how terrifying it would be to get trapped and have nobody to help because they can’t hear or see you?

I have no idea how hopeless it would feel to struggle for hours and get nowhere in the process — all while knowing that help wasn’t likely to come.

That’s probably exactly how this cat felt when he fell into a storm drain in Greece — that is, until somebody finally noticed him. When volunteers from Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) heard his cries from down the street, they dropped everything and ran to rescue him. Watching them work together to pull him out, you’ll agree that they’re true heroes.

The poor little guy was so scared that he couldn’t stop crying when they gave him food.

It only takes one person who cares to make a huge difference. Now excuse me while I go give my cats big hugs (and get scratched in the process). If you’d like to donate to SCARS so they can keep doing amazing work, you can do so here.

They Saw This Puppy Near A Busy Road, And What Happened Next Melted My Heart

A puppy named Fram was living a dirty, flea-ridden life by the side of a busy road before volunteers from a rescue organization called Howl of a Dog spotted him on a rescue mission one day. The little guy was clearly disoriented and he was venturing too close to traffic, so they had to act fast.

Before disaster could strike, however, he warmed up to the team (and made everyone melt in the process).

Fram is not only a fluffy bundle of joy, but he’s also very smart, playful, and friendly. He loves humans, other dogs, and even cats! He’s six months old and is now living at a rescue center while he waits for his forever family. If you want to help Howl of a Dog continue doing great work, consider donating!

This Kitten Looks Frightened ALL The Time (And He’s Precious)

It might look like this cat is totally petrified of life, but he’s not. That’s just his face.

He was born with absolutely huge eyes. His eyes are so big, in fact, that he can’t even close them when he sleeps. Most cats born with this condition have to undergo surgery, but so far, Herman is a healthy, loving kitty.

If nothing else, he’s a far cry from his kitten days, when the sickly little guy had to be hand fed to ensure his survival. The question on everyone’s minds, I’m sure, is this: How do you know he’s sleeping? Well, his mom says it’s easy to tell because he snores!

Meet Herman. Try not to die from the cuteness.

Need more Herman? I thought so.

I know what you’re all thinking because I’m thinking it, too. Where do I find one of these kitties for myself?
